Number Eight @ Kuala Lumpur

Count on Number Eight to give you comfort and style on budget. This is not a paid post, but I just thought that it’d be good to share with the world, on your beauty sleep when you’re on a precious weekend in KL for shopping or lepaking ![]()
Address: No 8-10, Jalan Tengkat Tong Shin, Kuala Lumpur.

I like this place very much. Very cozy, homy, make me feels like in home:) I also love it’s minimalist concept. Very suit for a budget traveller like me. The interior design is minimalist, surrounded by red color (also my fav color:D)

Bukit Bintang / Jalan Tengkat Tong Shin
We are having one of these tropical storms today, and so I am sitting in the reception area at Number Eight Guesthouse, which is snugly located along Tengkat Tong Shin, which is within a short walking distance from Bintang Walk.

Where the Flash like to Crash: Number Eight Guesthouse, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Designer-appointed air-con rooms for the same price as the YWCA? I’m guessing it won’t be too long before this place becomes too popular for its own good

So we decided to take a cab, which cost MYR61 for an hour- or- so drive to Number Eight Guesthouse in Jalan Tengkat Tong Shin. The guesthouse was located right in the middle of the city, walking distance to Bukit Bintang, Jalan Alor which is full of local eateries (including the famous KL Durian) and a 10-minute walk to KLCC.

My attempt at clearer directions: if you’re familiar with Jalan Alor (behind Bukit Bintang), this place is pretty nearby, on Tengkat Tong Shin itself. There’s a brick building somewhere opposite Number Eight Guesthouse (great place to stay, by the way)
